The MP for Redditch in Worcestershire has become a Dementia Friend, joining a group of political representatives from across the country for one of the group’s sessions in Parliament.
A new study by Scotland’s Care Inspectorate has shown that up to 90% of elderly care home residents suffer from dementia.
The Dementia Community Roadshow is to start its journey across the country, spreading awareness and information about a condition that affects hundreds of thousands of people in the country.
